This highly interactive workshop will help you develop your personal understanding of, and approach to:

  • The role of the trustees in assessing the risks facing the charity
  • Oversight of the risk management process and the organisation’s internal control systems
  • Evaluating risk, focusing on opportunities as well as potential negatives
  • Making informed decisions based on a sound understanding of risks and opportunities.

This workshop is designed for trustees. It is also suitable for those individuals who work closely with boards of trustees.

A thoroughly enjoyable, very practical one-day session (9.30 – 4.30).

Rachel is an experienced governance, risk and assurance specialist.  She works with boards and senior teams to improve governance and risk management, recognising their core role in delivering value to organisations and stakeholders.
